Doctor backups are taken before risky changes. Database copies and one-file snapshots use the same folder. A hand-carried update of another laptop is a different thing: ./aegis-transfer builds ~/Desktop/aegis-transfer with its own rollback. Knowledge export is ./aegis-share and ./aegis-import.
