Keyboard
There are two keyboards. Neither one is Bluetooth.
On the Tank
Aegis Keyboard 1.7 is an on-screen keyboard. It appears when a text field is focused. Enable it in the system keyboard list if the field does not show it. The current build named on this site is 1.7.
Long-press the mic key to open voice training. The same training is in the keyboard’s settings. Saved email addresses can be offered in an email field. Passwords are not saved into that list.
On the laptop
Run aegis-keyboard. A GTK window opens. You type into the field that has focus. The voice button opens training. The mic button dictates.
What the keyboard shares
Saved email addresses, and the voice-profile text (corrections and scores), can go to the one shared archive. Keystrokes, passwords, and voice recordings stay on the device. There are no separate accounts, so the address list and the voice profile are the same list the other connected copies read. See What syncs.
