Terms of Service

These are the operator’s rules for using Aegis and Aegion. They say what the software does. They are not legal advice.
What the software is
Aegion is the app. The current build is 0.2.6, package online.mindflux.aegis. On the Tank you tap Aegion. On the laptop you open Aegion from the app menu, or you run ./aegis from the project folder. ./aegis --classic is the older window. ./aegis-lite is a terminal client.
Signal Walk and Shield of Zeus open inside Aegion. On the laptop, the Guardian process scan is the Shield of Zeus screen. The keyboard is separate. On the Tank it is Aegis Keyboard 1.7, an on-screen keyboard that appears on a text field. On the laptop it is aegis-keyboard, a GTK window. It is not a Bluetooth keyboard.
Who operates it
CrimsonPeer / MindFlux, at mindflux.online. This page does not state a company registration number, a street address, or a lawyer-reviewed status. None of those are given here.
What is sent to MindFlux
When a copy can reach https://mindflux.online/aegis, it uses one SQLite archive. That archive is not MySQL, and it is not a dump of every database on the device. Connected copies currently share:
- Teachings: the question and the answer.
- Voice-profile text: corrections and scores. Not the audio.
- Saved email addresses.
- Signal Walk session summaries: when the walk was, the sample count, and radio counts. No coordinates.
- Guardian summaries: a score and counts. No file paths.
- A short app check-in.
The fuller list is Your data.
What stays on the device
Keystrokes, passwords, voice recordings, GPS tracks, the full walk samples, and Guardian file paths stay on the device.
One archive, no accounts
There are no separate user accounts. Every connected copy currently reads and writes the same teachings, the same voice-profile text, and the same email list. A teaching saved on one install becomes the answer on the others. If you teach it something private, the other connected copies can receive it.
Voice
You can train the keyboard to hear you. Inebriated voice mode is a switch you turn on yourself, for slurred speech. The keyboard labels it “I’m drunk”. While it is on, the mic waits longer and uses only the corrections you taught in that state. It is not a blood-alcohol estimate. It does not detect that someone is inebriated. It does not listen for drunkenness in the background. If you leave the switch off, dictation stays in the sober setting.
The corrections and scores from that training can be written to the shared archive. The recordings stay on the device. You are responsible for speech you train it on, including someone else’s.
What you are responsible for
You are responsible for the questions and answers you teach it. You are responsible for other people whose speech you enter, and for other people whose email addresses you save. Those teachings, corrections, and addresses go into the one shared archive, where every connected copy can read them.
The software can be wrong
Aegion can give a wrong answer. A correction you teach replaces the old one, including on the other connected copies. Do not treat an answer as checked just because the app showed it.
No warranty
The software is offered as it is. The operator does not promise that it will be accurate, complete, available, private from the other copies on this archive, or fit for a particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.
If you do not agree
Stop using it. Do not connect a copy to the archive, and do not teach it. These rules are the text on this page, dated 5 October 2026. Replacing this page is how the operator updates them.
